I have a SONY VPCSA23GW notebook. The battery stopped working long time ago,showing"plug in not charging", and I finally decided to purchase a new battery.
The new battery is fine, but it is not recognized by the laptop. It will not charge either. I did some search and found that I need a cd or driver to make it work, unless I purchase a Genuine SONY VGP-BPSC24 laptop batteries .
