Hello, I own a U430 touch, and was wondering, when you got the 7 hours
42 minutes battery life, what exactly was the workload of the computer
at that time? Was it idle most of the time, or were you opening
documents and files, browsing the internet, listening/streaming music,
Skyping, etc?
I'm currently getting a max of about 4 hours between charges using Lenovo's "Daily" power profile, but I do a fair bit of Skyping. Thanks in advance!
the Lenovo IdeaPad U430 14-inch notebook manages almost 12 hours during idle;
Lenovo IdeaPad U430 Touchbattery lasts 5:29 hours on Our WLAN test is more realistic with a luminance of 150 cd/m² (center) while webpages are refreshed via script.
The system lasted a class-leading seven hours and forty-two minutes on our battery rundown test. The only system to come close lately, the Acer M5-583P-6428, only managed eight more minutes, a blink of an eye when you realize that both systems can last most if not all of a workday. Most other entry-level ultrabooks with third-generation Core processors can manage only 4 to 5 hours on the same test.
