I own a U430 touch, and was wondering, when you got the 7 hours 42 minutes battery life, what exactly was the workload of the computer at that time? Was it idle most of the time, or were you opening documents and files, browsing the internet, listening/streaming music, Skyping, etc?

Hello, I own a U430 touch, and was wondering, when you got the 7 hours 42 minutes battery life, what exactly was the workload of the computer at that time? Was it idle most of the time, or were you opening documents and files, browsing the internet, listening/streaming music, Skyping, etc?
I'm currently getting a max of about 4 hours between charges using Lenovo's "Daily" power profile, but I do a fair bit of Skyping. Thanks in advance!

Lenovo IdeaPad U430 Touch Battery runtimes are a strong suit ,the 14-inch notebook manages almost 12 hours during idle. However, this is a very unrealistic scenario (minimum brightness, energy saving profile).

The predecessor U410 Touch only lasted 3:48 hours in the same scenario (probably lower capacity).
